The Baby Shower in Casper was this past weekend and it was awesome! Thanks to the Grandma's that put it all together. Thanks to everyone that came to share in the joy and sent gifts for Baby Cody!
We had our 3D/4D Ultrasound also on Saturday and OMG! that was way cool! Like nothing I have ever seen before. Baby Cody had his umbilical cord over his left eye and the placenta was in front of him so some of the pictures are a little blurry, but we still got alot of good pictures. We also got an awesome video of him making all sorts of facial expressions and yawning and I think we might have gotten to see his first fit throwing episode because at one point in the video he did not look very happy and I think was getting fed up with all the poking and prodding going on. :) Ha! Ha!
The nursery is coming together slowly but surely (AHHHHHHHH) I better get my crap together because like it or not Baby Cody will be here in about 2 months. :) So much stuff to do in so little time, but I can do it...... or at least I hope I can.
Thanks again to all who joined us and sent gifts for the Baby Shower! Baby Cody will be here soon for all of us to see! Luv ya all! Here is a preview of BABY CODY for all of you!

Exciting Weekend Coming up
Baby Cody is cooking right along and Jamie is now taking Iron pills which should hopefully fix the anemia. I got to spend the weekend with My sister and her four boys and Baby Cody of course. Went to the lake and the park like 5 times and even got to see the new Smurfs movie, I love having nephews that I can take to all the Disney movies so I can see them too and can't wait for Baby Cody to get here so I can take him.
Well the time has come.........our 3D Ultrasound is Saturday at 9:00a.m. then onto the Baby Shower at 11:00a.m. it should be a fun filled weekend and we are so excited! Can't wait to see and celebrate with everyone! Until next time.................................

Results are back!
My glucose came back within the normal range, but it appears I am slightly anemic. They want to to take an iron supplement and eat more green leafy veggies. Other then that everything is good. I am contemplating making a trip with my boys to Rock Springs. I do want to go but I am feeling a little worn down. It may just be what I need though, Tyson has to work Friday-Monday, so if I don't go I'll just be hanging out by myself with the kiddos. For now its just doing laundry and cleaning, which is what I feel like I am always doing 24/7!!! It never ends!!! Its just life!

Big ol' Baby Boy!
Jenny, Chris, Brian, Emalee, Tyson and I all went to Cheyenne Frontier Days this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. We all had a great time at the Zac Brown concert. Jenny and Chris took their first candid shot with Cody in my belly. Its times like that I wish we lived closer together so that they could enjoy more moments with Cody in utero. I can't believe were are beginning the home stretch, the last 3 months. It's incredible and mind boggling that in just a few weeks really, Cody will be out of my body and on his way with his parents. I am hoping I've done the best I possibly could have done helping Cody prepare for his life on the outside. We had an appointment the Monday after our trip to CFD, and a 7 hour float trip!
Doctors appointment went well, baby Cody is measuring big but nothing to worry about, looks like he is going to b a big boy! Weighing in at 3.2 lbs today!
I had to take the Glucose test, it was the fruit punch flavor. I've never had that kind before usually its the orange. I like the orange better. I felt alright after it a little queasy but nothing a little Taco Bell didn't fix. :) I am just hoping that the results will come back negative and I will be done with the whole glucose thing. I am a little worried with Cody measuring so big and the amniotic fluid being on the high side. I am not exactly sure when I will find out the results I guess if their is something wrong they will call. So lets hope for no news!!!

Hello everyone! I know, I know I have been slacking on updating you all on the progress of the pregnancy. We are now 26 weeks and 4days pregnant (94 days to go)! Woot! Woot!
Chris and I got to feel Little Cody kick away! So amazing! Chris was a little weirded out at first with putting his hand on Jamie's belly but I think after he actually felt the baby kick he thought it was so cool that he forgot about the weird feeling of his hand on Jamie's belly....LOL! It is so amazing to think that our soon to be little boy is growing away in Jamie's belly! We thank god every day for giving us this chance! :)
Well we have our next appointment on August 1st in Casper so we will see how things are going at that point. We have the c-section set for October 20th in Casper. OH MY GOSH! October is coming so fast but we are so ready to meet this precious little boy!
We will keep you all updated as the time gets closer. Until next time.................

Well here we have found ourselves in July in the 25Th week and 5 days pregnant. Little Cody is moving stretching, rolling, kicking like a crazy man! Hes responding to sounds as he has developed all 5 senses. Its pretty amazing that in just 12 weeks and 1 day little Cody will be here and his parents will be the happiest people in the world! Cody is most active in the morning, but often is just as active at night before bed. As my belly is getting bigger my kids have more and more questions about Cody and when he will come and how and all those fun question. Were hoping to have a scheduled c-section, hopefully he will wait for that date to make his big entrance, but we shall see as the time gets closer!

We both have so many ideas going for the nursery and lots of other stuff. :) We are working on getting registered for stuff and we are having a blast doing that. Hopefully we will have a baby shower date soon so we can let you all know when that is going to be. We have tons of projects we have to get done so that is keeping us busy, busy, busy! When we get the nursery done I will post some pics for everyone to see. It is hopefully going to turn out so so cute! We are so so excited and can't wait for our bundle of joy to arrive! Maternity Clothes Shopping
So this past weekend I got to spend time with the family in Casper and have no appointments to go to. We decided to go Maternity Clothes shopping! It was a blast watching Jamie try on all the maternity clothes we had lots of laughs while doing it. I even got to give my opinion on the clothes and thankfully for the most part Jamie and I agreed on all the decisions. LOL! Thanks Mom and Aunt Sherry for joining us! We even bought a little pair of baby shoes just because they were too cute to pass up.
The big day of finding out what we are having is approaching fast! Yay! We are so excited we can't wait for Tuesday, May 31st @ 3:15p.m. Boy or Girl? Who knows but we will find out soon enough! :) So keep your eyes open for the update of what we find out!
Time is going by so fast and we have tons of stuff to do still but with the help of my wonderful husband we will hopefully get all of it done in plenty of time. :) We will hopefully be registering for baby gifts soon for our registry and we will keep you all updated on when and where the baby shower will be.
So long for now......until Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am extremely excited for Jenny to get to experience this part of the pregnancy. Its was hard not to get mad at the comments the opponents were leaving, I felt that they were demeaning our situation and taking the fun out of the contest. I however decided to take a higher road and not get confrontational even though it was rather hard for a highly emotional girl at the moment!!! I have always protected my older sister just as she has done for me. I am sorry if you don't have money and are a single mom with a story you chose not to share, how is that our fault?!
Surrogacy
My sister has felt many dark roads in her life and for once she has a bright sunny path, I won't let you throw your shadow upon her and crush her smile that has finally found her face. She has an incredible story and if I could stand on the highest mountain and scream it I would. Nothing has been easy for us, as we have plenty of hard moments, we have fought through and overcome. I was optimistic and had good reason as so many other things have gone right for us. Lastly, I want to thank all of you that have voted and shared in our journey. I am sure my sister is feeling rather special right now and she should be, after all look at how many votes she got!!!!
I am 16 weeks and 1 day!
BTW I can feel the baby moving, usually in the morning. I've been waking up rather early and can't go back to sleep, I am afraid my sister you may have an earily riser on your hands!!!

It's been a while.....
Well it has been a while since I have written on here for you all. As you can tell from the previous post we got to hear the heart beat last Monday (5/9/11)! Way cool! Jamie is not showing at all as far as I could tell. Now she might have a different story.....ha ha! I can't believe this is really going to happen for us! We are so ecstatic right now we don't know what to do with ourselves. :-) We can't wait for the 31st of May to find out what our little bundle of joy is going to be, boy or girl. I really badly want to get the nursery done and of course start buying clothes and all that fun stuff.
Chris and I have a few other projects going on that need to be finished before this child arrives so we are going to be very busy from this day forward. HA HA! That is if I can get Chris to skip fishing for a weekend. Probably not going to happen but I can try atleast. LOL! I think I might be dreaming right now!
As most of you know we are in a contest right now on Facebook to try and win a 3D/4D ultrasound from Gentle Touch Imaging in Casper, WY. We are neck and neck with another girl on there but it has been all great fun seeing all the votes and trying to keep count! So go to Gentle Touch Imaging facebook page and vote for us if you haven't already. You have to like the page and then write JENNY MARKER POMPY on their wall. The person with the most votes wins the ultrasound. Thank you to everyone that has helped us out so far or that is going to. :-) You all will be hearing from me soon with the results of the contest and the results of the ultrasound on the 31st of May!!!!

Road Trip and other info
Jamie, my mom and I and of course the 6 kids well actually 7 if you include the kid in the belly have decided to head to Idaho for Easter. Woot! Woot! I know we sound like we are crazy traveling with 6 kids, but to my amazement they are all actually pretty well on road trips as long as we have the DVD player going. Ha! Ha! I myself am pretty excited because I get to see Jamie and how the baby is growing! :-) Chris has graciously opted out of this road trip. LOL! Well he really is headed to his parents house in Big Piney to see the brand new baby horses that were born Sunday night and this morning and to help out with one more that is on the way soon. So I guess he has a pretty good excuse. :-)
Jamie is doing well. We are 12 weeks along.
So far the pregnancy side effects have subsided from what she tells me, but she might be just "telling" me that because she knows that I feel bad for her. The May 31st appointment seems so far away and we can't wait until that day. I have been looking and Nursery Decor and good lord who knew there would be so many choices. I have a good idea of what I want but it is finding it that is the trick. I will keep you all updated on the room decorating.
Jamie said she would try to get on here and give everyone an update from herself, but she has a pretty busy schedule right now. She has decided to go back to school to become a nurse so she has a full time school schedule, her homework and juggling four boys and now being pregnant on top of all of this she is a busy busy lady. Soon she will update us all!

Just a little update
The appointment for finding out the sex of the baby has changed from June 7th to May 31st. YAY! we get to find out a week earlier than had planned, but we are not complaining that is for sure. :) Jamie has a regular OB appointment this Friday, April 15th to make sure things are going as planned.
Jamie is doing well! No more swelling of the hands or at least she can't tell if they are swollen because she has no ring on her hand anymore, dang it!
We are planning on a trip to Idaho for Easter to see my mom's family. That will be fun to get to see my sister and see if the little baby bump is starting to show yet. :-) Woot! Woot! By the time we take our trip it will be about 4weeks from the last time I seen Jamie. Seems like an eternity, LOL!
Chris and I have the baby's room painted tan so we are just waiting to find out the sex so we can finish and let me tell ya I am biting at the bit to find out the sex so I can get the room finished. I think everyone that knows me knows that I like to be organized and this room not being put together is bugging the crap out of me! Ha! Ha! Well, until next time!

And the pregnancy side effects begin
Talked to Jamie yesterday and she said she is feeling good. Still having some nausea here and there but for the most part everything is good.
Talked to her today and she said that well she got up this morning and noticed that her hands were really swollen but didn't think much of it until she noticed that her wedding ring was practically cutting the circulation off on her finger. Uh Oh! So to make a long story short, Tyson had to cut her wedding ring off from her finger because she couldn't get it off herself. Well I guess she gets to get a new one! LOL! So sorry sister that you had to do that and that you are experiencing all this stuff while being pregnant with our child but you didn't experience any of these things while being pregnant with yours. :( On a happier note; Jamie is craving fruit so I guess we know that atleast she is eating healthy! ha ha! Hopefully Jamie won't have to cut anymore jewelry off or does not have any swelling any where else. Luv ya Sister! Thanks Tyson for taking such good care of her! Wish I could be there to do it but I can't so Jamie, you are going to have to deal with your husband for now. LOL! Love ya guys!

Ultrasound 3/28/11
We had an ultrasound appointment yesterday and everything went well. We are 9 weeks pregnant as of yesterday and the heart rate was 158bpm. Mike and Kathy (Chris's parents) and my mom got to share the joy with us. It was so great to get to share this experience with everyone! Thanks for all your support Mom and Dad and Mike and Kathy! Jamie has a complete OB appointment on April 15th and then she will have a regular OB appointment on May 9th and then we will have another ultrasound on June 7th to find out the sex. Yay.....the wait for the June appointment is going to be long but we will get there! LOL! I will try to post the video from yesterdays ultrasound and some pics as soon as I figure out how to do it! :-)

FYI
For those of you who are interested; there is a show that will be on the Discovery Health & Fitness Channel that is called Twins by Surrogacy. It will air Saturday (3/26/11) morning at 9:00am for me but not sure what time for others. The show is a documentary about two sisters who one of them is going to be a surrogate for the other. It will show you step by step an example of what Jamie and I have had to go through. Kind of interesting! :) Hope everyone has time to watch it! Thanks to everyone for all your support!
Jamie said that she has now figured out that if she eats something right when she gets up in the morning, that it helps with her nausea. She also only has 4 more days of taking the Progesterone shots, WOOT WOOT! Soon there will be no more having to poke herself with that dang needle every night. The ultrasound day is right around the corner! We are getting so so so anxious to get to hear the little heart beat! :) We will definitely let you all know how the ultrasound goes. Until next time.............

uh oh!
I talked to Jamie a couple days ago and she told me that she woke up and said to Tyson "man I feel like crud today" and Tyson said "well you need to go back in the room and go to bed and shut the door because none of us want to catch whatever it is that you have" LMBO! Ummmmm sorry to tell ya Tyson but I don't think that pregnancy is contagious, but maybe in your house it is. HA HA! Luv ya Tyson!
I talked to Jamie this morning and she told me that she got up and was walking into Riley and Caiden's room to wake them up this morning and Oh Crap! she had to stop, try and take a deep breath and hope to god that she didn't hurl all over the boys' room. Poor thing! I have to be honest though, I am glad that I don't have to go through the feeling nauseous part. Sorry sister! Luv ya!

Feeling a little yucky. . .
Yes, Jenny is right, I wasn't feeling very well today. I was a little astonished to see that she had written a blog about it, for me I just thought, yuck I am feeling sick and really wish I could lay around and be lazy, but with 4 kids that's just not an option. So I put on my happy face along with my tight jeans and went about my business. However I accidentally mentioned to my mom that I wasn't feeling the best, if you know me I don't tend to let the little things bother me, I don't have time to. So anyways long story short my mom told Jenny that I wasn't feeling well and she immediately called to check on me, I told her I was fine and not to worry. Then next I know. . . sister blogged about it... then it hit me... "these are the little things she wants and needs to know, but these aren't little things, this is pregnancy, and "this" is Jenny's pregnancy. So from now I will share in more detail how I am feeling, Love you sister!
How sister is feeling
Talked to Jamie today and she was feeling a little woozy this morning, but after one bite of food at Subway and then telling Kegan and Kolter that they needed to be done right now because she thought she needed to hurry and get to the parentals house so she didn't hurl in subway or the car......poor thing! I really do feel sorry for her right now. :( It was a false alarm she said because once she got outside she felt fine! No hurling thank goodness! But besides a nauseous feeling here and there she says she feels pretty well for the most part.
more more more.................
So we called and scheduled another date to try this again. So after they couldn't do the first fresh transfer we had to freeze the 4embryos that we had. So this next one was going to have to be a frozen transfer. So right away Jamie started on medication again and we were back on schedule for the next transfer that was scheduled for November, 2010. Again I have attached a copy of the calendar for you all to look at.
We head back to SLC then to have this transfer done and everything goes well the transfer is done and we head back to Rock Springs the same day. Now we have to wait a long 2 weeks until we can take the pregnancy test. The good thing was that the waiting was right around thanksgiving so we got to spend some time with family and take our minds off from it a little.
This transfer takes place and we wait another long 2 weeks for the pregnancy test................................we are all a little scared this time to get the results. The phone call comes in and it is a...........................POSITIVE RESULT! WOOT! WOOT! We were all jumping for joy we were so excited that it finally had worked, but the nurse tells us that her levels are pretty low at this point so she wants her to wait 2 days and take another PG test. We wait 2 days and take another one and the results come back and the nurse tells us that her levels went up so that is a good sign but they should have doubled from the time before and they weren't quite double at this point so she wants us to wait another 2 days and take another pregnancy test again to make sure the levels are still going up and she tells us that after this PG test if the levels have went up that we will schedule a ultra sound and that this would be the last PG test. So again we wait another two days and have a PG test and the levels have went up but again they have not went up by the amount that they like to see. We then schedule the ultra sound for the 4th of March. Chris and I head to Casper again for the ultra sound and we are a little nervous because supposedly with the low levels it could cause a mis-carriage and who knows what else but we go to the ultra sound and get to see a little "kidney bean" as Chris referred to it on the ultra sound screen. Yea Yea Yea! it is confirmed that she is pregnant 100%! WOOT WOOT! The doctor then tells us that she wants us to schedule another one in 2 weeks just to check and make sure things are progressing the way they should be. So another ultra sound was scheduled for March 14th, 2011. At this ultra sound regrettably I couldn't attend but my mom was so graciously willing to go with my sister and call Chris and I on speaker phone so that we were able to hear everything that was going on and the Doctor was awesome at telling us step by step what she was doing and what she could see. She did tell us that there is only one baby in there, but that is completely ok with Chris and I because at this rate we feel so blessed that we are at the point that we are with this and also one kid is plenty these days. LOL! The doctor is going along telling us that this is the time that the little brain is starting to develop and that she can see a little arm starting to form and of course my wonderful husband pipes up and says "wait a minute is there only one arm" LOL! gotta love him! He was kidding of course but not everyone gets his humor as most of you know. Ha! Ha! The doctor informed us that she recorded everything that she did on a DVD and gave it to my sister to mail to us. I am pretty excited to see it when I get it in the mail. (hint hint sister) don't forget to mail it! :-) So now that you all are caught up to date with the whole thing, we have another ultra sound scheduled for March 28, 2011 @ 11:15am. We are so excited for this one because Chris, me, Jamie and Chris's mom and my mom all get to be there for this one and we also get to hear the little heart beat! SO EXCITED! Until next time...........................

The next transfer was scheduled for February 4, 2011. So Jamie starts all the medication again and we are on to the next transfer.

First Pregnancy Ultrasound
Saturday, March 05, 2011Expected Date of Delivery
Sunday, October 23, 2011This transfer takes place and we wait another long 2 weeks for the pregnancy test................................we are all a little scared this time to get the results. SO EXCITED! Until next time...........................

and more.......
April 2010- So to make a long story short we all had all of the tests done, some we had done here and some in Utah so we did a lot of traveling but we all passed with flying colors. :) We met with the lawyer and had all the legal stuff drawn up in a contract and then communicated with him over email, phone and fax to get it finalized. We had to have the legal stuff done before we could start the IVF stuff. So now all of our ducks are in a row. We then got to take a medication class in Utah at RCC. Jamie and I had to learn how to give ourselves injections. Jamie and I then got put on birth control so that our bodies could get synchronized with each others cycles and ovulating. Once that was done then we got to start giving ourselves injections and Jamie got to start taking pills and we both had to take prenatal vitamins and that fun stuff. I have attached a copy of both our first calendars just so you get an idea of times and dates and all that we had to do and also so I don't have to type all that out. LOL!
This first calendar is for me and the second one is for Jamie.
Okay so now that you know both of us on a personal basis, ha ha! So we went to Utah on August 7th, 2010 I believe for the first embryo transfer date. We get there get all ready and Jamie, my mom and I are all in the operating room and only seconds away from the transfer and the doctor says ummmm hang on there is some dried blood in here that I don't like. The doctor then asks the embryologist to take the embryos back and put them in their safe place because he wants to clean this up and make sure nothing is wrong. Well we then explain to the doctor that Jamie started to have some spotting earlier that week so we called the nurse at RCC and ask her if this was normal and she told us yes it was, so we went on with the original schedule. Well you could only imagine what was going through our heads at this moment but I actually wasn't too freaked out at this point, not until the doctor came back in and said "I am sorry to have to tell you this but I don't feel comfortable doing the implant today because if we implant there is a chance that neither of the embryos will take and I don't want to take that risk and basically waste the embryos because we already know the chance is lower with the bleeding than it would be normally. We then agreed with the doctor and left Salt Lake with our heads hanging pretty low, but for the most part we all stayed pretty positive about the whole situation. What else can you do, right? So from here the game plan was to call RCC the next week to get things started again so we could give it another shot! :)
This first calendar is for me and the second one is for Jamie.
