Oh my where do I start? Well the last time I updated this was in August after the Casper baby shower and there has been lots and lots of stuff that has happened since then. Sorry I have been slacking majorly :(. Here is a little timeline from then on.
September 10, 2011- Rock Springs baby shower!
Thank you to the host's Pam and Steph they did a great job and thanks to all that came to celebrate with us!
Mid September we had a little scare with pre-term labor and to make a long story short Jamie got put on bed rest so I moved to Casper to her house and played nanny for 2 weeks. :) at that point nothing had changed with dilation and contractions were still the same so I decided to come home and take a chance and play it by ear. Well I was home for a week and then headed back to Casper on October 3rd because Jamie had called and said "something is different I can just tell". Chris and I left here late that night and the next day we had a scheduled doctors appointment at 11:00 a.m. We went in for the appointment and the doctor checked her and then told us that she was going to send us over to the hospital to get monitored and that she would be over to check on her in about an hour. We were off to the hospital at 12:30 p.m. We waited for the doctor and she showed up about 2:00 p.m. and checked Jamie again and at that point she said "looks like you are having a baby today" :-) by 3:00p.m. Jamie was prepped and headed to the O.R. Chris and I were fortunate enough to get to be in the O.R. for the c-section delivery. On October 4,2011 at 3:12p.m. Cody Michael Pompy entered this world!
